We’re all going through a strange time right now. Here are some resources to help you through all the challenges of the current pandemic.

Stress Reduction is so Important Right Now!  Try these techniques and see if any work for you.

Deep Breathing: Let the out-breath be twice as long as the in-breath.  Count to 3 on the in-breath, 6 on the out-breath.  Gradually make the breaths longer if you can tolerate it – up to 5 on the in-breath, 10 on the out-breath.  Repeat for 10 cycles or so.

About Covid-19: Please take this pandemic seriously and advise, encourage, and cajole everyone you know to do likewise.  There are a lot of unknowns, but one thing is clear that the virus has been and is spreading rapidly through community contact in all parts of the United States.  Without immediate and strong social distancing efforts on the part of all Americans, the number of intensive care cases will soon overwhelm hospital resources, as has sadly happened already in countries around the world.  We can still slow the spread, saving lives.  All the efforts you take to minimize contact with others in the coming days will save the lives of strangers you may never meet. Other than essential work and errands, stay home.
